I will say that if the headline on the fusion was lower it would probably be the best looking sedan on the market.

You crazy. That is possibly the best looking car to come along in a while. Leave, Go back to your Skodas and Peugeots and Volkswagens. And it does not even resemble an AM :)

Your post is bad and you should feel bad.
Ironically, the Fusion is lighter than the Vanquish.

Other than the horizontal chrome slats in the grill, they look nothing alike. The grill shape isn't the same and the headlights aren't nearly similar. Also, the Fusions isn't a heavy car for its class.

I think this goes for nearly all cars. I'd love to see BMW's use of CFRP blaze a trail towards lighter cars.

It doesn't have the same effect if Zoidberg isn't seen making it.

I'm usually a domestic-hater. I'll always take German steel (and carbon fiber, and alloys and...) over US cars, but I have to give Ford credit. The Ford Fuckus was a flop. It was fugly, bad recalls (axles breaking, small things like that), but this Fusion... I really like the styling. Now, if only they would get the drive wheels in the right configuration.... It'd be the best US production car since the Dodge Magnum SRT8. The only thing I notice is the wheel arches seem too low and too small.

That, unfortunately, would never happen with today's side-impact standards.
